About DGTL

We are looking for a creative, motivated, and proactive Marketing, Social Media & Content Creation Intern to join our team in Amsterdam. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience within an internationally recognized festival brand and contribute directly to the way DGTL communicates with its audience.
What You'll Do
As part of the marketing team, you will help shape and strengthen DGTL’s digital presence across multiple platforms and touchpoints. Your responsibilities will include:
Creating, editing, and publishing engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital channels.
Writing compelling copy for social media, newsletters, website content, artist features, and campaign communications.
Assisting with the development and execution of marketing and social media campaigns.
Monitoring social media trends, platform developments, and community conversations, translating insights into creative content ideas.
Supporting community management across our social channels.
Researching industry trends, audience behavior, and emerging opportunities within electronic music, culture, and sustainability.
Creating on-site content during DGTL events (ADE).
Supporting artist storytelling through biographies, interviews, blog posts, and editorial content.
Analyzing content and campaign performance and contributing insights for future optimization.
Helping maintain a consistent and engaging brand voice across all communication channels.
Who You Are
You are currently enrolled in a relevant HBO or university program in Marketing, Communications, Media, Journalism, Digital Content, Creative Business, or a related field.
You have a strong interest in electronic music, house music, festival culture, and digital media.
You are passionate about content creation, storytelling, and social media.
You have strong writing skills in English.
Basic experience with content creation and video editing tools such as Premiere Pro, CapCut, Photoshop and/or Figma is a pre.
You are familiar with social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
You are creative, organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
You are comfortable working independently as well as within a team.
You are flexible and willing to work during evenings and weekends when events take place.
You are based in or near Amsterdam.
