Feel the energy: Malugi gears up for DGTL Amsterdam

Is it April yet? We definitely can't wait for the festival season to start! One performance that’ll take place during DGTL Amsterdam 2025 that we’re particularly excited about is from German DJ and producer Malugi. The DJ, also called the happiest man in dance music, is ready to play an energetic set with us on Saturday, April 19. Now that the festival is getting closer, we had a chat with him.

A love letter to the dance floor

“The club is my favorite place in the world,” Malugi tells us. “The electronic music community means a lot to me.” Malugi is a prominent figure in the Berlin club scene and co-founder of the label and party concept Club Heart Broken. By mixing different genres, his style is diverse, energetic, and full of twists. But it's not just the choice of tracks that sets the vibe with Malugi, his own energy goes through the roof as well.“I feel pure bliss,” he says. “I don’t always feel happy, but I definitely do when I’m playing.”

Malugi is ready to perform in Amsterdam. "DGTL would be the return to my favorite city after a very long time. So I will make sure to play my best possible set and bring the best possible energy." The artist is looking forward to kickstarting this year’s festival season together. “I am super excited to see you again on the bolt ground of NDSM. Let’s make this one a remarkable start of the festival season of 2025. Let’s have a party Amsterdam!”
