Female creators in electronic music and visual art, this is your moment!
Today marks the launch of the open call for the new edition of the DGTL Academy in partnership with ABN AMRO. A six-month mentorship program for emerging female DJ’s, VJ’s and producers ready to take their work to the next level.
This isn’t a contest. It’s not a competition. Where we are offering access to knowledge, networks, and real stages, building towards a cultural sector where diverse female voices set the tone for the future.
Calling all female talent
The electronic music scene continues to grow, but representation still lags behind. Like much of the industry, line-ups, studios, and creative teams remain largely male-dominated. The DGTL Academy in partnership with ABN AMRO aims to change that, not with words but with real opportunities.
Six female creators; three music producers and three visual artists, will be selected for an immersive six-month program. Guided by experienced mentors, you’ll shape your artistic identity, attend masterclasses and develop your own creative manifesto.
The journey culminates in a collective showcase at DGTL Festival 2026, where your work takes center stage within a large-scale art installation.
A spotlight at DGTL Festival 2026
The DGTL team creates a striking art installation, a living artwork at the heart of DGTL Festival 2026. This becomes the canvas where the work of six selected makers takes center stage. The 3 producers each craft a powerful 5-minute soundscape, mentored by an established DJ/producer. The 3 VJ’s design a matching 5-minute visual piece, guided by an experienced VJ. Together, your creations merge into a 15-minute high-energy loop, running throughout the festival. Visitors will see and hear your work as part of an immersive festival landmark.
