Shonky
Paris-born DJ and producer Shonky is known for his groovy, tech-infused house and hypnotic melodies. Since his first 12-inch in 2005, he has helped put Paris back on the global electronic music map alongside Apollonia collaborators Dan Ghenacia and Dyed Soundorom. His releases on labels like Freak N’Chic, Contexterrior, Real Tone and Apollonia include classics such as Olympia, Le Velour and The Minneapolis Touch.
A dedicated clubber since his teens, Shonky has played at legendary venues including Rex Club Paris, Fabric London, Panorama Bar Berlin and Club Der Visionaere. As part of Apollonia, he helped pioneer the back-to-back-to-back DJ format, delivering extended, groove-driven sets worldwide.
