Meera grew up surrounded by house music and DJs, absorbing the culture long before stepping behind the decks herself. Producing from the age of twelve and DJing by fourteen, her connection to music has always been instinctive and deeply personal. A natural crate digger with an open ear, she draws from world music, indie electronic and anything that resonates emotionally, shaping a sound that feels fluid and expressive.
Her productions lean toward a darker, more atmospheric take on afro house, driven by groove but marked by a strong sense of identity. There is weight and warmth in her tracks, balancing hypnotic rhythms with personality and depth. Emerging in 2023, Meera quickly established herself within the afro scene, with her debut EP on VOD gaining attention from influential selectors including Black Coffee, Caiiro, Damian Lazarus and Diplo.
With her latest collaboration alongside Tripolism selected as Pete Tong’s Essential New Tune, Meera’s sound continues to travel outward. Grounded in rhythm, guided by curiosity and emotion, she is steadily shaping a voice that feels both intimate and powerful on the dancefloor.
