Kamma & Yu Su
Kamma
Amsterdam-born DJ and producer Kamma channels intuition, heritage and deep musical roots into every set she plays. Growing up with DJ parents active in the city’s 80s and 90s club scene, she was surrounded by thousands of jazz, funk, disco and house records, a foundation that still shapes her sound today. Blending warm house, trippy techno and euphoric tones, Kamma’s sets are rich in emotion, rhythm and exploration.
Her connection to Amsterdam runs deep. Together with longtime collaborator Masalo, she co-founded Doka, the city’s first high-fidelity listening bar, and the Brighter Days event and mix series, celebrating open-minded dance culture and community. In 2023, the duo released a Brighter Days compilation on Rush Hour, bringing together hidden gems, new talent and their own K&M edits. Kamma’s sensitivity as a selector extends into her own productions, where she fuses electronic textures with melodic depth. Her debut single “Snow In April” hinted at her atmospheric touch, and with new club-focused tracks on the way, she continues to evolve while staying rooted in authenticity, warmth and groove.
