Jayda G
Canadian-born and now London-based, Jayda G is a GRAMMY-nominated producer and DJ whose infectious energy and enthusiasm have made her a standout in the dance music underground. Her sound blends vintage drum machine funk with Chicago house influences, a style she honed through early EPs on her Freakout Cult label and releases on 1080p and Geography Records, including the acclaimed single “Diva Bitch.” She has also remixed tracks for artists like Little Dragon, further showcasing her versatility.
Renowned for her high-energy DJ sets, Jayda G has played worldwide, from a celebrated Boiler Room set at Dekmantel to festivals including Glastonbury, Melt! and Night + Day Bilbao, as well as nights for Rhythm Section, The Hydra and Warehouse Project. Her 2019 debut album Significant Changes marked a natural evolution of her sound, recorded alongside completing a Masters in Resource and Environmental Management in Vancouver, where she researched the effects of human activity on killer whales.
