Fadi Mohem & Quelza

Fadi Mohem

Berlin-born and raised in Spandau, Fadi Mohem channels the city’s raw pulse into a precise, driving techno language. Shaped by Detroit roots, Berlin dub aesthetics, drum’n’bass and IDM, his sound is defined by groove, reduction and hypnotic repetition—stripped back, sharp, and constantly in forward motion.

A trained sound engineer and longtime Hard Wax affiliate, Fadi brings deep technical craft to both his productions and his sets. His workflow is fast and intuitive, allowing him to test fresh, unreleased material on the dancefloor and blur the lines between studio and club. As a DJ, his multi-deck technique is razor-tight, building long, rolling trajectories that lock dancers into a shared rhythm. As a live act, he works exclusively with hardware, creating tracks in real time for a uniquely immersive experience. True to his vision and uninterested in trends, Fadi Mohem continues to carve out his own place within contemporary techno. With releases on Klockworks, Seilscheibenpfeiler and WERK, and an ever-evolving sound shaped by exploration rather than expectation, he stands as one of Berlin’s most focused and future-facing talents.

Quelza

Paris-born and Berlin-based, Quelza (Léo Naït Aïssa) has carved a niche in contemporary techno with a sound defined by cinematic clarity, IDM-inspired rhythms, and layered textures. Emerging from the Parisian electronic scene in 2013, he has honed a signature style that blends unorthodox structure with rhythmic intensity. His productions on labels such as Mord Records, Palinoia, 47, and Hayes Collective reveal a meticulous attention to sonic detail, while his DJ sets push techno into panoramic, shape-shifting territories. Quelza’s approach combines breaksy complexity with hypnotic grooves, earning him a place at iconic clubs including Berghain, Tresor, Fabric London, Reaktor, and KHIDI, cementing his status as a leading voice in the new wave of techno.
