Blurry Slur
After a few years experimenting with the various styles of Minimal Techno under the Qwiver moniker, in early 2014 this versatile DJ / Producer was given the opportunity to delve into a new sound as he was billed alongside some renowned names from the international House Music circuit - Tube & Berger, Nils Hoffmann, HNQO, Tigerskin & Kevin Knapp among others. Performing alongside acts like these deepened his understanding of some exciting new styles of 4x4 beats and this shift led to the ideation of a new project with more of a focus on the housey & deeper side of music. With early explorations in Deep / Jacking House and everything in between, the current Blurry (DJ) vibe can best be classified asfun yet pulled back with a new-found love for the ever-growing Minimal / Deep Tech scene. That being said, a typical Blurry Slur set could just as easily sway between feel-good tunes & disco edits, darker shades of acid & minimal, timeless classics, slow burn Rominal, broken 2 step & garage and almost everything else that comes under the vast and constantly evolving House Music umbrella. As a producer, the direction has always been and continues to be groovy yet stripped down with a string of cool releases on labels like Pitch LDN, Samani Music, Jambutek, Diserpiero Records, IWant Music, Monocord Records etc.
