Armand van Helden
Armand Van Helden is one of the most influential figures in house and dance music. Emerging in the early ’90s as a top in-house producer for the legendary label Strictly Rhythm, he worked alongside icons like Todd Terry, Erick Morillo, Roger Sanchez, and Masters at Work, creating numerous club hits that helped define the era. Van Helden first gained worldwide attention with his breakthrough single Witch Doktor and went on to produce a string of dancefloor classics, including The Funk Phenomena and Cha Cha.
Known for his innovative and forward-thinking remixes, he has reworked tracks for artists ranging from Deee-Lite, New Order, and Tori Amos to Janet Jackson, the Rolling Stones, Daft Punk, and Puff Daddy, often bringing even greater popularity to the originals.
